The faintest fluttering of a heart had caused the corners of his mouth to form a smirk. He could smell her already; her perfume and the sweat that was collecting along her hairline. His tongue traced his bottom lip and he waited, knowing that each footstep brought her closer and closer.
Tap, tap, tap…
He lunged at her, bringing her back into the darkened alleyway. She tries to scream, tried to pull from his grasp but he was so much stronger than her.
“Shh… shh.. it will all be over soon, dear.”
His voice like velvet, sweetening each word.
Her writhing stopped, her eyes showing exactly how terrified she was. He was sure this was his favorite part, how the light would leave their eyes and their lips slowly lost color.
He took her in, how the curve of her neck seemed to be perfectly made for just his intention. Her glossy blonde locks bouncing at each movement. Then his eyes traced down the rest of her body. He could never express how in love he was with the female form. Curve after curve after curve.
He licked his lips in anticipation, her hand over her mouth. He tiled his head and watched the veins in her neck rush blood to her soon-to-be dead heart and he laughed.
“This may.. prick a little.”
His tongue ran up her neck and his eyes closed as his teeth started to graze over her porcelain skin. She struggled again against him and this caused her blood to sing silent melodies, begging to fill his mouth.
His teeth dug into her throat, tearing her skin and the scream she’d been waiting to cry out was muffled against his hand. He only sank his teeth in farther, the blood pooling in his mouth.
In moments she went limp in his arms and he pulled her away from him, her eyes already glazing over. He let her fall at his feet, kicking her off of his shoes and dusting himself off.
He looked down at her and smiles, something evil behind his eyes. Slowly, he crouched down, brushing the curls of honey from her face.
“Pity. I didn’t even know your name.”
