Edward tried to remember if he’d ever danced before. He was sure there had been box steps, and swaying, but he’d never danced the way kids danced now. Waving his arms about, eyes closed, feeling every beat of the drums. It wasn’t something he was interested in attempting either.

He’d seen Bella dance before, outside of the prom and their wedding. When she thought she was alone, and he was checking in. Her arms waved over her head in circles, her feet pounding the hard wood floors. She looked so carefree and human. Just one more little thing he’d miss.
