I watched the clouds converge and grey overhead and knew it would only be a matter of time before a perfectly sunny day was ruined by typical Forks weather patterns. This would have upset me years ago, but now it’s almost welcome with my current state.
An overcast day could mean a shopping trip with Alice, or a walk hand-in-hand with Edward. But still, a part of me ached for a time when the sun poking through the dreary clouds brought on euphoria.
Though I was accustomed to my new life, a small part of me longed for my former.
