ahhh! you made an icon of alexi titarenko's work! i have his book somewhere . . . that was city of shadows, and his cuba series is at the getty right now.
(sorry, i spent a year working in a fine art photography gallery that specialized in medium to large format black and white artist printed work, and he was one of our more recent artists. i am just so surprised to see his work here! it's so haunting . . .)
