It all happened too quickly, mouths gasping and bruises left on hips. Edward’s nails dug into Jacob’s flesh too hard, blood started to trickle down his arms and everything was much too quiet. The wounds started to heal but Edward’s eyes had already grown black as coal.

Edward’s chest burst with growls, filling the air around them, piercing the silence. Edward’s nails dragged down Jacob’s chest harder than before, the blood seeping from the wounds before they closed. Edward smirked and fell into Jacob’s neck, licking the skin before opening his mouth and ripping at his flesh.

The blood pooled into Edward’s mouth before he gave it any real thought. The sweetness stung his throat and he felt Jacob’s hand trailing up his back and resting at the base of his neck. Edward stole as much as he could and when he lifted, Jacob was already screaming in agony.
